On September 1, 2026, peacefully at Wellington Hospital, aged 82. Historian and Slavist. Much loved son of Vern and Natalie Wilson, brother of Barry and the late Paul, brother-in-law to Robyn, loved uncle to Caroline, and great-uncle to Olive and Hunter.

A private cremation will be held. There will be a celebration of Tony's life at 160 Oriental Parade, Wellington, on Tuesday, September 15, at 3.00pm.
