DAVIES, Maureen Anne. Peacefully on Saturday 13th June 2026 aged 91. Adored wife of James Davies for 71 years. She holds a legacy of three daughters, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She imbued in us all a sense of style, a love of cooking and entertaining, and a wicked sense of humour. She was fierce, funny, kind and wonderful. All of us loved her immensely.

A service celebrating her life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services Ltd, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Thursday 18th June 2026 at11am followed by burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Ohope Road.
