KIRK, Patsy Anne. On Saturday, 26 September 2026, peacefully at Mary Shapley Care Home aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Alex Kirk and formerly the late Wally Anderson. Loved mother of Judith, Wayne (Dec) and Jocelyn and mother-in- law to Leigh. Loved Grandmother of Paula and Stu, Nicola, Kelly, Marcus and Neytiri. Loved step mum to Alex and Clare and "Patsy" to Gretchen, Samuel and Oliver and their families. In accordance with Patsy's wishes a private celebration of her life has been held followed by cremation. Dearly loved wife of the late Cedric George Flowers (Ted), the late Brian Holstein, and the late Don Seager. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and Bruce Rutledge, Wendy and David Proctor, and Ian Flowers. Nana to Jesse, Paul, James, Joshua, and Emma. McNEIL, Robert Stuart (Bob/Rob /Dadio). On Tuesday, 8 September 2026, peacefully and comfortably at Golden Pond Private Hospital aged 97 years. Much loved husband of the late Gaynor. Beloved father of Claire and Careen. Cherished poppa of Hayley, Shanan, Wade and Cassidy. Adored great grandfather of Tate, Jake, Eryn, Ella, Nate, Tyler, Chelsea, Julien, Addie, Kolson, and Bowie. A much loved, cherished and respected man by everyone who knew him. This is a sad loss for everybody. He had a full and active life in every aspect, with many achievements, adventures and pursuits. He will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of Bob's life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, Whakatane, on Thursday, 17 September at 11am, followed by a private cremation. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Greg Rasmussen, Lina and John Shapleski, Mike and Liz (deceased) Swanson, and Tony and Pat Swanson. Adored Nana of all her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren. ROSS, Moira. Born 9 November 1932 and passed away peacefully on 18 August 2026. Treasured wife of William Ross (deceased). Dearly loved mum of William Jnr and Layney; Gillian and the late Nicholas Goff; and Ian and Melissa Ross. A much loved grandma and great grandma. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Whakatāne Hospital and Mary Shapley for the care, compassion, and dignity shown to Moira.
