Passed away peacefully at Steel Park Home on Friday, 21st August 2026, aged 87 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Suzanne & Ross. Dearly loved grandad of Liam & Sarah, Sean & Shannon, and Kieran, and treasured great-grandad of Cassidy, Patrick, Charlie-Rose, and Lachlan. A talented photographer with a wonderful eye for capturing the world around him, Tom had a lifelong love of photography. Just as importantly, he loved sharing his knowledge with others, and took great pleasure in teaching, encouraging and helping others develop their own skills behind the camera. Tom will be remembered for the knowledge he generously shared, the people he encouraged, and the many moments he captured through his lens.

A service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at the Te Awamutu Presbyterian Centre, Mutu Street, Te Awamutu, on Friday, 4th of September 2026 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
