On Friday, 21st August 2026, aged 98 years, passed away peacefully at Hilda Ross, surrounded by family, in his 99th year. He will be hugely missed by his devoted wife of 73 years Elva, daughter Lynley and son-in-law Lindsay, daughter-in-law Sallie and his 5 grandsons, 4 granddaughters-in-law and 13 great-grandchildren. His funeral service will take place at Tamahere Eventide Chapel, 61 Bollard Road, Tamahere, Hamilton, on Wednesday 26th August at 1.30pm.
