It is with sadness that Phil's family share his passing on Monday, 31 August 2026, aged 67 years. Dearly loved husband of Denise. Much-loved father and father-in-law of Luke & Kassandra, Jason, and Dean, and loved brother of Helen and Janet.

A memorial service to celebrate Phil's life will be held at Whatawhata Community Hall, Rothwell Lane, Whatawhata, on Friday, 11 September 2026, at 1.00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waikato Trust would be appreciated and may be made online at hospicewaikato.org.nz/en/donate. All communications to the Hutchings Family, 77 Eyre Road, RD 10, Hamilton 3290.
