Passed away peacefully in Ashland, Oregon, on 15th September 2026, with his Mum and wife beside him, aged 55 years. Precious first child of Georgina and Gordon McDonald, adored big brother to Matthew and Anna, devoted husband to Carrie and loving stepdad to Gus and Vinny. Dear stepson to Tony and Judy, admired brother-in-law to Shannon and Andy, and kind uncle to Maya, Brady and Lucas. Treasured Kiwi son and brother-in-law, and a great friend to many in NZ, America and beyond. His quiet strength and knowledge will be missed by many.

May the waves never end, and the fish keep biting. Absolutely forever in our hearts.
