It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Laurel on Tuesday 21 July 2026, at Te Aroha Hospital. Aged 81. Loving wife of Keith for 60 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Erica, Nadine and Duncan, Phillippa, treasured Nan to Drew and Stella. Cherished daughter of the late Jeff and Phyl Towers, loved daughter-in-law of the late George and Rita Amon. Little sister and sister-in-law to Warren and Joyce (deceased), Mark and Jan, Neale and Rae. Sister-in-law to Peter and Pam, Ray and Alison. Caring Aunty to many nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Laurel will be held in Te Aroha Co-operating Parish, Church St,T e Aroha, at 11.00am, Saturday 25th July. In honour of Laurel, please consider donating to Waikato B.O.P. Cancer Society, donation box available at the service or go directly to the link on the Cancer Society website.
