Passed away Sunday, 30th August 2026, suddenly at home. Dearly loved husband of Alison for 55 years. Loved father of Jim, Neil, Wayne and Robyn. Father-in-law of Seralee, Louise, Sarah and Shane. Loved and adored grandad/poppa to Zoe and Jenna, Jono and Talisha, Nardia and Brodie, Jordan and Josh, Courtney and Jack, Talia, Lexus, Brodi and Quinn. Great-grandad of Mason, Jax, McKenzie and wee Archie.

A service to celebrate the life of John will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Morrinsville, on Saturday, 5th September, at 1.30pm, followed by burial at the Piako Cemetery.
