On Tuesday 11th August 2026, peacefully at Cambridge Oakdale, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Sue. Dearly loved dad of Penny and Kim, and loved poppa of Emma, Milly, and Sam.

A service to celebrate the life of JT will be held at Woolertons' Funeral Home Chapel, 8 Railside Place, Dinsdale, Hamilton 3204, on Wednesday 19th August at 1.00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dementia Waikato would be appreciated and may be left at the venue. Condolence messages, memories and tributes may be shared with the family through www.hamiltonfuneralhome.co.nz or by mail to the Hunter Family, c/- PO Box 276, Hamilton 3240. A livestream of the service will be available on the same website for family and friends who are unable to attend.
