Our handsome taonga passed away suddenly in Waikato Hospital ICU on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Gill was a deeply cherished father of Lucian and Annequin, soulmate and best friend of Davina, brother of Solomon and Jay, nephew of Alan, son of Harry, Missy, David and Carol. Cousin, uncle and friend to many. Gill lay in state at Te Kotahitanga Marae, Otorohanga, and was cremated at Newstead Crematorium on 6 July 2026.
