On 13 June 2026, peacefully at Waikato Hospital; aged 81 years. Beloved husband of Dawn, and father of Brett, Nigel, Troy, and the late Debbie.

A celebration of George's life will be held in the Alexandra House Chapel, 570 Alexandra Street, Te Awamutu, on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at 12 noon.
