Passed away peacefully Saturday morning 27th June 2026. Loved husband of the late Althea, father and father-in-law to John and Vicki, Mary-Anne and Matt, Andrew, Louise and Jason. Grandpa to Orion, Athena, Jayden, Alethea, Sophia and Erika. 'Uncle Eric' to many. The family would like to thank his 'girlfriends' and staff at Te Aroha Community Hospital for their care of Dad in his final years. A service to celebrate Eric's life will be held in the Te Aroha Club, Centennial Ave, Thursday, 2 July, at 1.00pm. All communications to the Mace family c/- 6 Tamihana Street, Matamata.
