Passed away peacefully on 28th June 2026, after a short illness. Loved husband of Marion for 60 years. Loved father of Craig and Tracey, and Jan and Hamish. Treasured Popa of Campbell, Carla, Josh, Kaitlin, Charli and Ethan.

A private celebration of Doug's life was held on 1st July at home on the family farm. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. All communications to the Herbert family C/- PO Box 5523, Frankton, Hamilton 3242.
