Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Waikato Hospital in the early morning of Monday 3 August 2026, aged 86. He is survived by his sons Colin and John, and his granddaughters Katie, Hannah, and Nicola. Beloved, faithful husband of his late wife Fay. As per Don's request, no official service will be held, his family will gather privately to celebrate his life.
