Derek DALTON

Sadly passed away at Waikato Hospital on July 29, 2026. In typical Clive style, he told the family he wasn't feeling that great and thought he better head up to the hospital to get his meds checked. He had the art of the understatement right to the end! He will be greatly missed by his sons Paul, Nigel, and Mark, and their families. He was particularly proud of his grandchildren Molly, Liam, Hazel, Noah, and Imogene, and the apple of his eye, great-grandson Tonton. He leaves a big gap in our hearts and on Facetime! As per his wishes, a private cremation has already taken place. But he didn't say anything about not holding a party to celebrate his life, so we'll get onto organising that once the dust settles!
