Peacefully at Waikato Hospital on Monday, 29 June 2026; in his 80th year. Dearly loved husband of Heather for 54 wonderful years. Devoted and respected father of Andrew and the late Emma, and father-in-law to Marianne. Cherished Grandad of Elliot, Darcey, and Lina. A man who found joy in the outdoors and the simple beauty of birdsong. A spirit forever at home in nature. A Celebration of Alan's life will be held at All Saints Church, 191 Sandwich Road, St Andrews, Hamilton, on Monday, 6 July at 1.00pm.
