Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 12th of September 2026, at Hawera Hospital, aged 96 years. Much Loved wife of the late Gosaibhai Hirabhai Patel. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Kishor and Bharti, Nirmala and Vallabh, Indira and Bharat, and Madhu and the late Manu. Cherished Mai and Ba of Rajen, Amisa and Vivek, Kalpesh and Priti, Alisa and Sanjay, Tejas and Kshama, Pretesh and Priya, Roshni and Nilesh, and Ushma. Adored by her great-grandchildren Yeshna, Dhruti and Dylan, Dhana and Kaira, Tiya, Krish and Mila, and Manu.

A service to celebrate the life of Valiben will be held in the Taranaki Crematorium, New Plymouth on Wednesday, 16th of September at 1.00pm.
