QSM JP: Unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday morning 3rd of September 2026, at Taranaki Base Hospital surrounded by family. Treasured and adored wife of John for 54 years, most loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Erin, Anne and Malcolm, Claire and Timo, Bridget and Jill, Kate and Sam, Kieran and Tash. Loved and treasured Nana and Nana Kiwi of Molly, Ella, Ava, Milla, Esme, Nicole, Neve, Van, Chloe, Porsha, Rue, Hugh, Lynnie.

A funeral mass for Shirley will be held at St Joseph's Church, Victoria Street, Hawera, on Tuesday 8th September, at 11.00am, followed by her burial at the Hawera Cemetery.
