Sadly, we share the news our sister, mother, nana and friend passed away, lovingly comforted at her side by her whanau, on 21st July 2026. Beloved daughter of the late Wilson and Melveena (nee Westbury-Rangi) Inia. So much inner strength and courage carried, love and laughter shared. Her resilience and warmth will remain in our hearts forever; your whanau: Martin and Carmen, Bronny and Janet, Chris, Mark, her children Margaret, Jo, and Phil, and all her grandchildren. We extend an invite for those who knew Merrile to remember her with love. Merrile will be at home, 28 Richmond St, Fitzroy, on Thursday 23rd evening until Monday, 27th midday, where you can pay your respects, followed by a funeral service at Abraham's Chapel, 366 Devon Street East, Strandon, at 2.00pm.
