After a courageous battle, Lynette passed away peacefully on Monday, 6 July 2026, in her 58th year. Dearly loved youngest daughter of the late Lyndsay and Barbara Sole. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Chris and Kathryn Sole, Sheree and Noel Callander, the late John Sole, and Maryanne and Brian Priest. Much-loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Much loved special friend and companion of Barry Mount.

A service to celebrate Lynette's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth, on Thursday, 9 July 2026, at 2.00pm, followed by a family burial at Awanui Cemetery.
