Passed away peacefully on 14th August 2026, surrounded by family. Aged 83 years. Much loved husband of Adrienne. Dearly loved Dad of Chris, Andrea and Raymond. Valued father-in-law of Craig Fraser and Nikki Crone. Cherished Grandad of Angus and Bobby. Treasured brother-in-law of Dorothy & Ginty Bigwood and uncle to Owen Bodley and Stine Fisker.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Purewa Cemetery, All Soul's Chapel. 100 St John's Road, Meadowbank, on Thursday 20th August at 1.00pm. All communications to Adrienne Plowright, c/- 106/54 Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021.
