After a short and courageous battle, Hans passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 25th August 2026 at Te Rangimarie Hospice, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Dorothy (dec) and Trish (dec). Much loved father and father-in-law of Sonja and Peter, Phil and Robyn, and John and Tracy. Adored grandad of Rochelle and Matt, Jason, Matthew, Melissa and Sarah (dec), and great-"opa" of Hudson and Eden (dec), and a much loved brother and brother-in-law.
