Peacefully at Jean Sandel Retirement Village on Sunday 19 July 2026, aged 92. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Phillipa & Barbara, Catherine & Alastair (dec), and Simon & Kate. Loved Grandma of James, Samuel, Isabel, Victoria, and Patrick. A memorial service to celebrate Joan's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth, on Thursday 20 August 2026 at 2.00pm.
