After a short illness Betty passed away peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Monday, August 10, 2026, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Alfred Lloyd (Spike). Loved Mum of Dianne, Karen and Kelvin (dec) Wall, Ann and Tony (dec) Te Ruki, Ngawhare and Jane, David and Fay, and Lloyd. Adored Nana and Big Nana of 3 generations of her moko's.

A service for Betty will be held at Puniho Pa, on Friday 14 August at 11.00am. Betty will be laid to rest with Spike at the RSA area of Awanui Cemetery at 2.00pm
