On 26 July 2026, aged 81 years. Passed away peacefully and with dignity, surrounded by love. Dennis showed remarkable resilience, courage, and stoicism to the very end. These cherished past weeks have been filled with much love and laughter. Treasured and deeply loved father and father-in-law of Darren and Susan Stewart, Donna Stewart and Alan May, and Cyndi Stewart. Adored Grandad of Jacob and Chantal Stewart, and Ayla Stewart. Much-loved Great-Grandad of Koby and Laurel. Loved second dad to Melissa Robinson. Special friend of Elva Langridge.

A celebration of Dennis's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth, on Saturday, 1 August 2026, at 10.30am, followed by interment at Mangapouri Cemetery. In preference to flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice Taranaki.
