Passed peacefully on 12 June 2026, aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Lance Girling-Butcher. Beloved mother of Moon, Tim and Victoria and grandmother of Skye, Molly, Emily, Hazel, Freya and Camille.

A service to celebrate Ali's life will be held at, Eagers Te Hēnui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, Strandon, New Plymouth, on Thursday, 18 June at 2pm, followed by a private cremation. All are welcome to join the family at Shinning Peak from 3.30pm onwards.
