Sylvia KOENIG

Passed away peacefully, at home, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026; aged 85. Loved wife of Karl*. Loved mother and mother-in-law of John Shepherd (Wellington), David and Annemarie Shepherd (Vienna). Second eldest daughter of Vin* and Ella* Bourke (Mossburn), loved sister of Val*, Maree*, Pam (Te Anau), and Erin (Wellington). Loved auntie to her nieces and nephews. In accordance with Sylv's wishes, a private cremation has been held. Sylv will be interred at the Mossburn Cemetery at a later date. A special thanks to the Doctors and nurses of the Fiordland Medical Centre and the RDNS carers (especially Viv, Janet and Heather) who have gone that extra mile for Sylv over the last few months.
