It is with deep sadness Shona's family announce her unexpected passing on July 27, 2026, at Southland Hospital. Dearly loved partner of Richard (Sam) Creighton, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Shane (Gilly) and Monica (Glenorchy), Jude and Richard Dinan (Gore), and adored Nana of Adam and Armadine, Becky, Hayley and Adam McIvor, Travis and Briana, and great-Nana to CJ, Adasyn, Leo, Harrison, Colton, and Madeline, much loved big sister, sister-in-law and aunty to all. A wonderful friend to many. Her final game has been played.

You will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

As per Shona's wishes, a private cremation has been held. Family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Southland Hospital for their wonderful care. A service to celebrate Shona's life will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11.00am, at the Gore Town and Country Club, Esplin Room, 2 Bury Street, Gore.
