Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family with his favourite music playing softly beside him, on Monday, September 14, 2026, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Elaine for 52 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Kenneth*, Blair and Michelle, Shaun and Maria, Anita and Richie. Very proud Grandad of Joshua, and Ryan; and Harm. Loved eldest son of John* and Mary* (Scotland), and son-in-law of Ken and Coral Pawsey (Christchurch)*. Brother and brother-in-law of Marion and Jack (Scotland), John and Annette (Timaru), and Raymond* and Alysoun Pawsey*. Loved uncle of all of his nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their appreciation to all of the team at Windsor Park Care Home and Annette and the team at Wyndham Rest Home for their care of Robert. A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Friday, September 18 at 2.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
