Murray FREEMAN

Passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, at Allen Bryant Hokitika surrounded by family. In his 85th year. Adored Dad and father-in-law to Diane and Wayne, and Debbie and Andrew. Cherished Grandad of Luke, Jed and Ella, Kelly and Lance and Cameron. Father of Paul. Loved brother of Coreen and Ian Hoskin (deceased), and Bruce Freeman (deceased). Loved Uncle of Andrea and Trevor Hobson, Sandra and Trev Scott, and Denise. A great mate and cousin of Russel Stokes. A special thank you to the caring staff at Allen Bryant Lifecare.

A private cremation has taken place. An informal memorial to celebrate Murray's life will be held at The White Pub Fox Glacier on September 5, 2026, at 5.00pm. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Murray Freeman, PO Box 76, Fox Glacier.
