Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 2.44pm at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends, aged 69 years. Deeply loved and cherished husband of Julie for almost 48 years. Loved father of William, Cameron, Yolande, and Amy. Loved grandfather of his 14 grandchildren. Adored brother of Ann and the late Neville. Messages can be addressed to "The Thompson Family", c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch, 8148. A special thank you to the staff of Christchurch Hospital for the love and care shown to Morris over the last 2 weeks.

A service to celebrate Morris' life will be held in the Canterbury Chapel, 455 Linwood Ave, Christchurch, on Wednesday, September 2, at 1.00pm.
