Passed away peacefully in rest home care after a long illness in Hamilton, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in her 87th year. Loved wife of the late Alan Gieseg of Invercargill. Respected mother to Steven and Sarah Gieseg (Christchurch), Karen and Andrew Trebilcock (Mosgiel), and Michael and Sarah Gieseg (Hamilton). Valued Grandma to Angus and Nawe Gieseg, Fraser Gieseg, Gavin and Martha Trebilcock, Brad Trebilcock, and Annalise and Lydia Gieseg. Sister to Douglas*, David*, Neil* and Doreen Smith. Sister-in-law to Eric and Norma* Gieseg, David and Jan Gieseg, Marlene and Allan* Henderson. A memorial to Linda's life will be held in Southland.
