Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in his 79th year. Dearly loved husband of Trish. Much loved father and father-in-law of Simon and Susannah, Bridget and Ben, and the late Peter. Cherished grandfather John of Ada, Willa, Harriet and Millie.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 10.30am on Friday, September 25.
