Peacefully, on June 28, 2026, with family by his side; aged 86 years. Cherished husband of Esther for over 60 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Karen and Richard, Alison and Ryan, and Richard Leslie*; adored Grandad of Ashley, Rosa, Lachie, and Jamie. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Bill* and Lyn*, Bob* and Margaret, Terry and Jan, and Ted and Katharine. An inspirational teacher, and a good friend and colleague to many throughout his teaching career, sporting pursuits, and dedicated service to school and sporting communities. Special thanks to Hato Hone St John, Ward 8 Medical at Dunedin Hospital, and the staff at Summerset at Bishopscourt. A private family farewell will be held.
