Ian FLUTEY

Passed away on September 2, 2026 after a determined battle, aged 91. Dearly loved husband of Barbara for 67 years. Much loved father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to many. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ian's life at a farewell gathering at Te Rau Aroha Marae, 8 Bradshaw Street, Bluff, on Friday, September 11 at 2.00pm. Heartfelt thanks and respect to the staff and medical teams of Bupa Ascot Care and Hospice for helping a "straight shooting, tell it how it is, stubborn soul" transverse his final hurdle to rest. Ian will be resting at home until the day of the funeral.
