Passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2026; in his 90th year.

Reunited at last with his deeply loved late wife Aileen. Devoted Dad and father-in-law of Sue and Jim (and the late Russell), Mandy and the late Eric, Justin and Karyn. Adored grandad of 7 grandchildren and cherished great-grandad of 4 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed, but his strong family values and love will live on with us forever.

A celebration of Hugh's life will be held at the Whangamata Baptist Church, 301 Port Road, on Thursday, July 30 at 11.00am, followed by Interment at Whangamata Cemetery.
