Peacefully at Rowena Jackson with his family by his side, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, aged 76. Treasured and loved husband of Susan. Entertaining and cherished father and father-in-law of Martin and Nadine, Matthew, Gareth and Morgan, Chris and Patty, Brendon and Natalie, and William. Adored Grandad of Max and Louie. A special thank you to all the staff at Rowena Jackson for their beautiful care of Gordon.

A service to celebrate Gordon's life will be held at Lindisfarne Methodist Church, 22 Lindisfarne St, Invercargill, on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.
