Passed away peacefully Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Southland Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Lois, loved and devoted father and father-in-law of Sandra and Paul Chrystall, Darryl and Kerrie Gerken and loving grandad of Taryn, Alyssa, Hayley, and Jayden, loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of Teresa Bartlett. A special thanks to all the staff in the medical ward for the extraordinary care they took of Dad. A service to celebrate George's life will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2026, at 2.00pm in the Town and Country Club Esplin Room, 2 Bury Street, Gore. Followed by a private burial.
