Christine BROWN

Passed away peacefully, aged 68 years, on July 23, 2026. Loved mother and friend of Jonathan (Jonny) and Liz, Esther and Andrew, and Sarah (Suz) and Gareth. Dear friend of John Brown, with whom she spent many years of marriage. Much-loved Nana ("Merry") Chris to Lia, Madison, Astin, Lincoln, Ayla, Ava, and Jed. "I will always love you, hug you, and snuggle you." Loved sister of Martin Crosbie, Julie Novotny, Patrick Crosbie, Theresa Crosbie, and the late Tommy Crosbie. Cherished friend to her loving and supportive gaggle of girlfriends.

In accordance with Christine's wishes, she has generously donated her body to the University of Otago for medical teaching and research. A memorial service to celebrate Christine's life will be held at a later date. Details will be advised.
