Agnes JOHNSTON

(formerly of Balfour), Peacefully at Parata Residence for the Elderly, Gore on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, loving Mum and mother-in-law of Suzanne and Greg Salton, Pam and Peter McDermott, Allan and Robina Johnston; treasured Grandma of Hannah, Rob; Nicholas, Rachel, Julia; Matthew; and great-Grandma of Arlo. Special sister and sister-in-law of Frank Blakely, *David and *Marg Blakely, *Leonard Blakely, *Gladys and *Bruce Baldwin, and loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Joy will be held in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Ardwick Street, Gore on Friday, September 25 at 11.00am, followed by a light luncheon before the interment at Balfour Cemetery.
