Passed away suddenly but peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, September 26, 2026, aged 86 years. Beloved wife of Richard and deeply loved Mum of John, and Wendy, Gran of Lisa, Madison, and Ayla Grammy of Jayden, Xender, and Hadley.

Rest in love, forever remembered.

A service for Dawn will be held at the Shone and Shirley Chapel, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson, on Monday, October 5, at 2.00pm. Messages for the Wakelin family can be sent to 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson 7011.
