Passed away peacefully at Brightwater Home on Friday, 21 August 2026, aged 94 years. Cherished husband of the late Julia. Beloved dad of Sharon, the late Wayne, Gavin, Craig, Rachel, and Andrew. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather.

A funeral service for Walter will be held in the Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Wednesday, 26 August at 1.00pm.
