JEFFERS, Robert Joseph (Bob). ZL2AAQ 1 June 1930 - 25th June 2026 (age 96). It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bob on Thursday 25th June 2026 at St Johns Hill Lifecare. Dearly beloved husband and soulmate of Eunice, married for 69 years. Cherished father of Sue and Roy Gardner (Blenheim), Claire and Grant Winterburn (Whanganui) and Joan Quinn (Greymouth). Grandfather to 12 grandchildren, Great grandfather to 20 grandchildren and great great grandfather to 4 grandchildren. Thank you to the staff at Whanganui Hospital and St Johns Hill Lifecare for their continued love, care and support with Bob until his final day. Bob's funeral service to be held in the Cleveland Chapel 179 Ingestre Street, Whanganui on Wednesday 1 July, 2026, at 11am. Bob will be laid to rest at the Aramaho Cemetery.
