James JENKINSON

2026 · Manawatū-Whanganui

Died 15 June 2026Posted 4 July 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of James in London on Monday, 15 June 2026, aged 51. Born and bred in Palmerston North, James was the much-loved youngest son of Shirlee and the late Jim. Brother and brother-in-law of Linda and Nick (Moult), and Stuart and Alice. Uncle to Alex, Amelia and Dan, Max, Tristram and Bella. Great-uncle to Arabella Jenkinson-Barr. Though he built a wonderful life in London and Argentina, he always carried his Manawatū roots close to his heart. Forever remembered and sadly missed by family and friends in both the UK and New Zealand. In accordance with James' wishes, he will be cremated in London and his ashes brought home to New Zealand.

Memorial services will be held in both London and Palmerston North, with details to be advised. Family and friends are invited to visit James' Ever Loved memorial page to share photos, memories and messages, and to see updates regarding his memorial services: https://everloved.com/life-of/james-jenkinson/ Messages may be sent to The Jenkinson Family, c/- 697 Main Street, Palmerston North or to LJ@lindajenkinson.com
