Passed away peacefully on Saturday 27 June 2026 in his 85th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Pam. Respected father and father-in-law of Vicki and Shane; and Stuart and Renee. Grumpy Grandad of Lucas and Zac.

A funeral service for Ian will be held on Saturday 4 July 2026 at 11.00am at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North followed by private cremation. Messages can be sent to Ian's family, c/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North 4410.
