Passed away peacefully on Sunday 23rd August 2026 at Lonsdale Rest Home, Foxton. Loved and cherished husband of June for 68 years. Dearly loved father of Gail, Debra and Ian. Father in law of Miriam and Chris. Poppa to his 6 grandchildren, Nina, Myles, Daniel, Tim, Jen and Awatea. Great Poppa to his 5 great-grandsons.

A service for George will be held at St John's Union Church, 11 Avenue Road, Foxton on Friday 28th August at 11.00am.
