WEIR, Eric Gordon. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 5 August 2026 at Kowhainui Rest Home, Wanganui, aged 92 years. Loving husband of the late Diana Margaret Weir. Loved Father and Father-in-law of Scott and Liz, and Grant and Maree. Loving Grandfather of his grandchildren - Amanda and Isaac Scott and Hamish, Kent and Gemma and Levi Barrow. Cherished Great Grandfather of Hugo, Bella and Lily.

A service to celebrate the life of Eric will be held in Church of the Good Shepherd, Weraroa Road, SH3, Waverley, on Tuesday 11 August 2026 at 1:30pm. The family would particularly like to thank the management and staff of Kowhainui Rest Home in Wanganui for their care of Eric. All communications addressed to the family of Eric Weir, C/- Grant Weir, 88 Pukawa Road, Pukawa Bay, Turangi, 3381.
