On Monday 31st August 2026 peacefully at home, aged 90. Dearly loved husband of Joyce. Loved father and father-in-law of Dereck and Yukari, Quentin and Emma, Jessica and Rob. Grandpa Doug of Kosuke, Kenny, Claire, Lucy, and Cooper.

A service for Doug will be held in the Kelvin Grove Crematorium Chapel, James Line, Palmerston North, on Friday 4th September 2026 at 1.00pm.
