LUFF, Betty (nee Ruscoe). Born 11th July 1935, passed away peacefully in Whanganui on Saturday 27th June 2026, in her 91st year. Eldest daughter of the late Alexander and Mavis Ruscoe. Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late Thomas (Tom). Much loved Mum and mother-in-law of John and Barbara, the late Joanne, Helen and the late Ken Savage and the late Roger Goode, and Paul. Adored and exceptional Nana to Susan (Suzi) and Fitzi, Hayley and Wayne, Nicole, and Sarah. Thoughtful, generous, and kind Great Nana to her 10 great grandchildren. Loved and respected sister, sister-in-law, and Aunty Betty. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at New Vista Rest home for their wonderful care of Mum and Nana over the past 11 months. Betty will be so happy to be with her Tom once again. To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Whanganui Tramping Club can be left in the Chapel Foyer. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Betty's life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui on Wednesday 1st July 2026 at 1.30pm.
